His Lordship, Joshua Lauterbach the Count of Acarospora, is a member of the Peerage of Westarctica. Joshua first gained interest in the growing Micronation after receiving an invitation from his cousin, the Baronet of Monkmore.

Activities

Since joining Westarctica, Count Joshua has actively sought to further the nation's interest, he has joined both the Honorary Consular Corps and the Civilian Corps to offer his service whenever possible.

Title

The Count's title is derived from Acarospora Peak, a prominent mountain peak located in the Watson Escarpment. The peak itself was named after the lichen Acarospora emergens, which was discovered at that location by a scientific research team in 1969. It was bestowed upon Joshua by Grand Duke Travis on 19 February 2020.

Arms

The heraldry of arms designed for the Count of Acarospora was created by the Baron of Abele in his capacity as the Ellsworth King of Arms. They were registered with the Westarctican College of Arms in 2020.
