Frostman Glacier

Frostman Glacier (75°8′S 137°57′W) is a broad, low gradient glacier discharging into the south side of Hull Bay just west of the Konter Cliffs, on the coast of Westarctica.

Discovery and name

It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1959–65, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Thomas O. Frostman, a meteorologist at Plateau Station in 1968.

Viscount of Frostman

On 17 January 2019, Christian Kinigadner, an Austrian supporter of Westarctica, was granted the peerage title Viscount of Frostman.
