O'Connor Nunataks (76°26′S 143°25′W) is a group of rock exposures rising above the ice near the head of the Balchen Glacier 5 nautical miles (9 km) northeast of Griffith Nunataks in the Ford Ranges of Westarctica.

Discovery and name

The nunataks were discovered by the United States Antarctic Service in aerial flights over this area in 1940, and named for Raymond O'Connor, a member of the West Base of the USAS (1939–41).

Peerage title

On 17 January 2019, Margit Leitner was granted the life peerage Baroness O'Conner in recognition of her support of Westarctica.
