The Minister of Education is a position on the Royal Council responsible for educational programs sponsored by Westarctica.
History
The Ministry of Education was created on 16 May 2019 after several months of discussion between Prime Minister Jordan Farmer and Grand Duke Travis. The Grand Duke had been looking for someone to assume responsibility for education programs ever since the creation of the Honorary Consul Training Program.
Ms. Jama Jenkins was invited to join the Government of Westarctica as Minister of Education on 16 May 2019 and accepted the appointment on the same day.
Activities
Ms. Jenkins will have broad authority over her ministry, but it is anticipated she will also assume control over the Westarctica Leadership Institute.
