Orders and Decorations of Kolios

The Orders and Decorations of Kolios are a series of awards (also called "honors") created to recognize exceptional achievements related to the nation of Kolios, reward dedication and service to the nation, and strengthen bonds of friendship between Kolios and its foreign allies.

The most notable of these, the orders of chivalry, are a means for the crown to recognize and reward citizens and foreign dignitaries. Kolios' sovereign is the font of honor and the only person authorized to bestow knighthoods.

There are a large number of planned changes to Kolios' honors system that will take effect on 26 February 2022, the date that Prince Garibald will take the throne, and when the nation will become a territorial holding of Westarctica.

Current Awards

The current system of awards is made up of three orders of chivalry and two other awards, with the oldest having been established on 20 September 1995.

The Principality of Kolios currently has two non-chivalric awards, one of which is a commemorative award.
