The Government of Westarctica, formally referred to as His Majesty's Government, is the central government of Westarctica and its colonies, dependencies, and territories. Although similar in some respects to a parliamentary government, the government of Westarctica does not have an equivalent of a "lower house" and does not include elected representatives. All positions within the government are received by appointment and may be rescinded at the pleasure of the Grand Duke, the sole and independent head of the government. It is separate from the Westarctican Order of Precedence, which characterizes the relations between Westarctica's nobility.
