Hey, do we have the Scribunto extension?  Baron of Bastanchury (talk) 09:36, 25 December 2018 (UTC)
Not that I can see.  There are a few extensions I'd like to add on to the Wiki (top two are mobile view and the ability to create Portals), but I don't actually know how to add them.  Trying to follow the instructions has failed me.  However, if you want it added, I can put in a request with my tech uploaded to have him do all three at once. ~ HRH 25 December 2018
:I was trying to add the "convert" template to our repertoire of templates, and the template calls on a Lua module (about which I know little and understand less), and apparently the use of THAT requires Scribunto.  I have followed the Meta instructions for importing the convert template to our wiki, but the thing didn't work without Scribunto.  Honestly, I am speaking a language here that I do not speak, but am hoping all of this can somehow come together.  The convert template is a handy one, and there may be others equally useful which may depend on Scribunto.  So keep me informed on this front, if you would.  Much thanks!  Baron of Bastanchury (talk) 00:38, 27 December 2018 (UTC)

I just thought of two more articles we need, and I lack the knowledge to write them: we need an article called the Lesser Shield and another called the Greater Shield, with each article explaining the various objects that appear in each heraldic device and something (perhaps not all) of the story you told me yesterday after lunch regarding the proper usage of each, yes?  Do consider it!  Baron of Bastanchury (talk) 21:35, 14 March 2019 (UTC)

Was there really a Westarctican currency called the McHenry??  I just read that there was.  If so, we should have an article on it.  If not, where do people get these ideas from? Yes and no...  The official currency was always called the Westarctican Dollar; however, when Jon-Lawrence Langer became Grand Duke, one of his first acts was to change the name of the currency to the McHenry (in honor of me). This decree was never actually put into practice though because all money minted by the Treasury continued to be called the Westarctican Dollar. User:Westarctica 21 March 2019

I'm not sure if you know, but when you go to the page for a file, you can upload a new version of it, without having to create a new one and change links. I do this regularly with images of Corps ribbon racks as new ones are added. I find it to be a nice timesaver.--DukeBearPeninsula (talk) 16:19, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

Reminder: we talked before about setting up the search engine so that it would disregard the use or misuse of capital letters, but it doesn't look like you have implemented this feature.  Am wondering of you would consider it.  Wikipedia doesn't require the use of the capital letters, and everyone is going to be used to searching for things here the way they do on Wikipedia.  I tried to get a friend to look up the article on the Count of Dendtler over the phone two days ago, but it turned out she wasn't typing using a capital D ("Count of dendtler", some of my friends are more difficult than others) and so had a very hard time getting to the article, and this is just one instance with which I happen to be familiar.  I am sure there are countless others!  So do consider it, yes?  Thanks!  Baron of Bastanchury (talk) 01:16, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
:I've noticed that issue, as well. It hasn't bugged me too much, since the article you intended should pop up as the first search result. I was trying to add the "convert" template to our repertoire of templates, and the template calls on a Lua module (about which I know little and understand less), and apparently the use of THAT requires Scribunto. I have followed the Meta instructions for importing the convert template to our wiki, but the thing didn't work without Scribunto. Shields

The "McHenry"?

Baron of Abele's arms

I'm not sure if you know, but when you go to the page for a file, you can upload a new version of it, without having to create a new one and change links. I do this regularly with images of Corps ribbon racks as new ones are added. I find it to be a nice timesaver.--DukeBearPeninsula (talk) 16:19, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

Capital letters?

Reminder: we talked before about setting up the search engine so that it would disregard the use or misuse of capital letters, but it doesn't look like you have implemented this feature. Am wondering of you would consider it. Wikipedia doesn't require the use of the capital letters, and everyone is going to be used to searching for things here the way they do on Wikipedia. I've noticed that issue, as well. It hasn't bugged me too much, since the article you intended should pop up as the first search result. That said, it is a change that is probably worth making--DukeBearPeninsula (talk) 18:40, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
