==Location==
Resting in Hull Bay, Bandy Island lies at the terminus of the [[Frostman Glacier]]. It is overshadowed by the prominent [[Konter Cliffs]] on the mainland.

==Mapping and name==
Bandy Island was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and from [[U.S. Navy]] aerial photographs collected during the 1962–67 research seasons.
