The Empress was granted early acceptance into college and began at age 16. While away at the University of A&M Kingsville the summer before her senior year in High School, she studied computer science and assisted with research for the development of artificial intelligence.

Having extensive experience in oratory, the two reached the state level where they won awards at their respective events.
