The '''Hatcher Bluffs''' (86°20′S 125°36′W) are a line of bluffs facing northwest, located 5 nautical miles (9 km) south of Metavolcanic Mountain, at the east side of [[Reedy Glacier]] in [[Westarctica]].

==Discovery and name==
The bluffs were mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and [[U.S. Navy]] air photos collected between 1960 and 1964. The Hatcher Bluffs were named by the Advisory Committee on [[Antarctic]] Names in honor of Julius O. Hatcher, a construction mechanic who worked at [[Byrd Station]] in 1962.

==Peerage title==
On 8 July 2023, [[Grand Duke Travis]] bestowed the [[Peerage of Westarctica|peerage title]] Duchess of Hatcher upon Elisa Ghirardi, [[Order of the Snowflake|DtS]], the [[Jacobel Glacier|Baroness of Jacobel]] and [[Honorary Consular Corps|Vice Consul to Italy]] in recognition of her support of Westarctica.
