==History==
Koliosian heraldry has existed as long as the nation itself. In the early days, there was no specific guidance for Koliosian arms, although there were obvious Germanic and Bavarian influences.

During these early years, the only coats of arms belonged to geographic regions of Kolios, not to individuals.

==Efforts to Build Unique Culture of Heraldry==
In 2020, Margrave Jordan of Sulli was named to the unnofficial post of Chief Heraldist for the entire Empire of Agber by Empress Arlene, who was also the Princess of Kolios. During his tenure in the role, he expressed interest in developing a system of personal arms for Koliosian nobles. Although Princess Arlene agreed with it being a good idea, she never implemented it.

In 2022, when Prince Garibald assumed the throne, he released an edict that established the framework for Koliosian arms. The Prince von Kolios retained the right to award and manage Koliosian heraldry after the signing of the Marana Accords. He also established the office of Fryar King of Arms, although the role has not yet been filled.
