'''Koloc Point''' (74°10′S 111°39′W) is an [[ice]]-covered point marking the northern extremity of the [[Bear Peninsula]] along the [[Walgreen Coast]] of [[Westarctica]]. It marks the northern extremity of the Peninsula as well as the northern portion of [[Moore Dome]].

==Discovery and name==
The point was first mapped by the United States Geological Survey from air photos obtained by [[U.S. Navy]] Operation Highjump in January 1947. Koloc Point was named by the Advisory Committee on [[Antarctic]] Names after Lieutenant Commander Bohumil Koloc, Jr., U.S. Navy, a helicopter pilot during U.S. Navy Operation Deep Freeze in 1966 and 1967.

==Peerage title==
There are two [[Peerage of Westarctica|peerage titles]] tied to Koloc Point:

* Baron of Outer Koloc - Philipp Strauss. The Baron is the young son of the Duke of the [[Walgreen Coast]], Johannes Strauss. He was granted his title on 17 January 2018 as a gift from his father.

* Baron of Upper Koloc - Walter Birnböck. The Baron was granted his title on 18 January 2018 in recognition of his support of Westarctica.
