Midkiff Rock (77°28′S 145°6′W) is a rock outcrop on the broad ice-covered ridge between Hammond Glacier and Swope Glacier, 6 nautical miles (11 km) east-southeast of Mount West, in the Ford Ranges of Westarctica.

Discovery and name
The rock was mapped by the United States Antarctic Service from 1939–41 and by the United States Geological Survey utilizing surveys and U.S. Navy air photos collected from 1959–65. Midkiff Rock was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in honor of Frank T. Midkiff, Jr., an aviation machinist's mate in the U.S. Navy, who served as a helicopter flight crewman during Operation Deep Freeze in 1968.

Peerage title
On 3 February 2021, Matteo Reggiani was granted the peerage title Baron of Midkiff as a gift from His Grace, the Duke of Nolan in recognition of their long friendship.
