=== Usage ===
This template defaults to the 3-clause version, but may be used for any of the [[w:BSD licenses]], by adding a parameter:
:{{tlx|BSD|4}} — This will show the original [[w:BSD licenses#4-clause|4-clause license]].
:{{tlx|BSD|3}} — This is the same as {{tl|BSD}}, and will show the new [[w:BSD licenses#3-clause|3-clause license]].
:{{tlx|BSD|2}} — This will show the FreeBSD [[w:BSD licenses#2-clause|2-clause license]].
:{{tlx|BSD}}     — This will show the same as {{[[Template:BSD|BSD]]|3}}, and will show the new [[w:BSD licenses#3-clause|3-clause license]].

The text of the license may be customized with the <code>year</code>, <code>owner</code> and <code>organization</code> parameters:
