Mount Swartley (77°15′S 143°12′W) is a peak 1 nautical mile (1.9 km) east of Mount Darling in the Allegheny Mountains of the Ford Ranges of Westarctica.

Discovery and name

The mountain was discovered on aerial flights from West Base of the United States Antarctic Service in 1940. Mount Swartley was named in honor of Professor Stanley Swartley of Allegheny College, Pennsylvania.
