Trabucco Cliff (76°37′S 118°1′W) is a cliff at the tip of the broad spur which forms the northeast extremity of Mount Rees in the Crary Mountains.

Discovery and name

Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy aerial photography, 1959-66. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for William J. Trabucco, United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) ionospheric physicist at McMurdo Station, 1969, and Siple Station, 1973.

Count of Trabucco

On 15 January 2016, the peerage title Count of Trabucco was granted to an American supporter of Westarctica. He subsequently renounced his title and Westarctican citizenship directly to Grand Duke Travis on 31 March 2022. The title was quietly retired.
