Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Myishola Matthews (birth name Myishola Chuntal Watson) is the founder and current Head of State of Empire of Ishola, a micronation, new country project, and non-profit corporation. Known for her love of all things regality and royal, her reign is one of pageantry and grandeur as much as it is of development. Her largest contributions to the Empire of Ishola is the conception of the 5 Royal Ministries. These institutions provide free education, healthcare, mental health services, food supplementation and personal development resources for all citizens of the nation.
Early life
Empress Myishola Matthews was born Myishola Chuntal Watson, 7 September 1988 in rural Houston, Texas. She began competitive oratory at 4 years old with her sister Princess Latrishola. While having success in oratory at a young age, she was then trained by her Father King Tony in chess. She showed great promise and ranked well amongst the chess community and was often invited to speak during her primary education.
The Empress was granted early acceptance into college and began at age 16. While away at the University of A&M Kingsville the summer before her senior year in High School, she studied computer science and assisted with research for the development of artificial intelligence.
During her senior year of High School, Empress Myishola & Princess Latrishola we founding members of the debate team. Having extensive experience in oratory, the two reached the state level where they won awards at their respective events. The Empress also graduated a varsity letterman in Dance, Band, Choir, Student Council, Theatre and Cheerleading.
She continued college at The University of Houston, where she went on to join the speech & debate team, winning on a national level 2 years consecutively.
Prior to her reign, The Empress ran multiple successful businesses and non-profit organizations geared to help women become financially independent. In 2020 she retired from business and began performing philanthropy full time.
Personal life
Empress Myishola reigns the Empire of Ishola full time, creating new programs and experiences for the betterment of all people. Born the first of 6 children, The Empress has 5 full siblings, 1 nephew and 1 niece.
She has been married to Emperor Michael Matthews since Jan 4, 2020. The couple currently have no heir.
Published Books
In 2023 Empress Myishola Matthews published her 3rd book "Change Yourself". The book became a #1 Best Seller within 24 hours. This was the first publication of her reign. Prior to the throne The Empress wrote 2 books in the topics of branding and marketing and intimacy respectively.
