His Lordship, the Viscount of Adams, Lyle H. Sorrell, KtO, KtS, CW, is a member of the Peerage of Westarctica.
Involvement with Westarctica
His Lordship was inducted into the Peerage of Westarctica in November 2020 as the Baronet of Harpmore. He quickly instituted a new fundraising effort with eBay for Charity, whereby a small portion of proceeds from each online auction would be donated to Westarctica. This program proved to be wildly successful and as a result, Sir Lyle was knighted for his efforts as a Knight Commander in the Order of the Snowflake in early 2021.
On 2 November 2021, as part of the 20th Anniversary Honors and Appointments, Sir Lyle was granted the title Viscount of Adams, so-named for the Adams Rocks in Westarctica's Phillips Mountains. He was also made a Companion in the Noble Order of Westarctica.
On 2 November 2023, His Lordship was inducted in to the Order of the Orca as a knight in recognition of his long-standing support of Westarctica.
