The creation of coins by the Central Bank ceased in 2013; however, both [[Grand Duke Travis]] and the former [[Minister of the Treasury]], [[Duke of Sherman|Jorge Fernandez-Vidal]], have expressed interest in resuming production of coins.

The Prime Minister of Westarctica is the chief legislator and Head of Government of Westarctica, in this capacity, the Prime Minister is responsible for approving Westarctican Ordinances passed by the Senate of Westarctica. In Westarctica's corporate structure, the Prime Minister is also Chief Operating Officer and Secretary of the Board of Directors. The current Prime Minister is Brendan Cook.
