'''Baron of Bastanchury''' is a [[courtesy title]] held by the ruler of the Barony of Bastanchury.


It was originally a subordinate title held by [[Grand Duke Travis]] when he was King of [[Colony of Calsahara|Calsahara]], however, he granted the title as a courtesy to Westarctica's new [[Minister of Information]] in March 2018 to recognize the latter's previous support of Calsahara.

==Activities==
The Baron has been an extremely active member of the [[Royal Council]] and was responsible for designing Westarctica's first paper currency, the [[Ice mark]]. His Lordship was appointed to the position of [[Commissioner of the Treasury]] with responsibility for managing the [[Central Bank of Westarctica]] on behalf of the Crown.
 
==Knight of the Snowflake==
On 15 July 2018, at the fourth annual [[Royal Polo Match]], His Lordship was invested as a Knight Commander in the [[Order of the Snowflake]] in recognition of his work creating and maintaining [[Encyclopedia Westarctica]].
