With the exception of the [[Order of the Snowflake]], the 02 April 2005 ''Royal Decree Revising the Orders of Westarctica'' establishes the protocol of each order such as the size of the order, the use of post-nominal letters and insignia design and display.

==Abolished Orders==
On 11 March 2021, [[Grand Duke Travis]] issued [[Royal Decrees|Royal Decree]] RD-2021-002 which amended many of Westarctica's Orders of Chivalry. In this decree, His Royal Highness abolished the [[Holy Order of The Cross]] and the [[Order of Merit]], both of which had been seldom awarded since their creation in 2005. Although abolished, existing knights of both orders are still authorized to wear their regalia.
