-I think you were trying to not overstuff the boxes, but I think there may be a better way of approaching this, as everything mentioned here is usable as ''both'' a written or oral style, depending on circumstances. It'd be more correct to qualify them as direct and indirect styles, but that doesn't feel right, either.
