An excellent question!  Technically, there is no sash associated with this order aside from the blue/black one I wear as Sovereign of the Order.  Ideally, there would be a sash for the rank of Knight Grand Cross, but sashes are my weak point.  Quality ones are freaking expensive, and home-spun ones are never as good as the real thing (although I have a red one made by the former King of Scone that is very close).  So, rather than be seen wearing a cruddy piece of cloth hanging about my body, we have to make due with what we have. - Westarctica

I'm not sure where sashes are implied, as they are not mentioned anywhere in this article (not even that of the Sovereign of the Order). Additionally I changed the wording on medals bestowed. As irrespective means "regardless of," saying you "bestow the medal irrespective of class being bestowed" implies the existence of a single regalia given to all ranks (as is the case with the Order of the Desert Heart). I changed the wording to reflect that each rank will get the regalia for that class of knighthood, since each of the three has their own visually distinctive award.--[[User:DukeBearPeninsula|DukeBearPeninsula]] ([[User talk:DukeBearPeninsula|talk]]) 16:59, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
