We would be remiss if we failed to thank '''[https://www.wikipedia.org/ Wikipedia]''' for its various contributions. Without the free programing, templates, and articles, Encyclopedia Westarctica would look terrible and have little information of value outside of our micronational articles.

We also owe an even bigger debt to the hoards of bottom-dwelling admins, moderators, and bureaucrats over at Wikipedia. Without their ignorant, pedantic, ego-fueled, petty worldviews and pathetic attempts at human existence, we wouldn't have had a reason to create Encyclopedia Westarctica in the first place!
We must also express our disappointment, however, with the way that a number of Wikipedia editors and admins have treated micronation-related information on their site, and with the double standards which we have seen applied to works there.  The Wikipedia article on Westarctica, supported with a number of references to non-trivial discussion in independent reliable secondary published sources, was deleted after seven years on a premise of "I don't like it" and converted into a redirect to the article on Travis McHenry. The parliamentary means by which this was done and the duplicity with which it was handled was striking for an organization so priding itself of authenticity and accuracy. It did nothing to increase the world's knowledge, and instead served more to blow out the light of effort of those who had worked to create an article on a legitimately notable subject.

Their hateful, malicious, attempt to maintain Wikipedia as some kind of dull reflection of their own bitter soul has led to the decline of that fair volume of knowledge and successfully transformed it from an encyclopedia ''anyone'' can edit into a cesspool of arrogance and fear carefully curated by basement-dwelling losers with no better way to spend their time than throwing temper tantrums over the latest updates to the article on ''My Little Pony''.

Sadly, those tantrums and the flame wars that result are their only form of human contact. We should pity them. And use bots to submit endless takedown requests of their most prized articles.

While there are plenty of decent Wikipedia admins, there are many horrible bottom-feeders such as users: ''Jameslwoodward'', ''RoySmith'', ''John Pack Lambert'', ''DGG'', ''TimBuck2'', ''TimTempleton'', ''ValarianB'', ''Slideshow Bob'', among other slimeballs in a sea of slime too numerous to mention.
