Farwell Island
Farwell Island is an ice-covered island, about 70 kilometers (38 nmi) long and 19 kilometers (10 nmi) wide, lying between McNamara Island and Dendtler Island in the eastern part of the Abbot Ice Shelf on Westarctica's eastern border with Chile's Antarctic claim.

It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Captain Arthur F. Farwell, Chief of Staff to the Commander, U.S. Naval Support Force, Antarctica, during Operation Deep Freeze 1968 and 1969.
Peerage title
On 27 March 2015, Michael Metelits was granted the peerage title Count of Farwell by Grand Duke Travis in recognition of his support of Westarctica.
