His Lordship, Arthur Langer, the Baron of Maricopa is a noble peer of Westarctica and eldest son of the Duke of Moulton-Berlin. His title is one of the oldest in Westarctica, as such, he is considered a member of the Old Guard.

Involvement with Westarctica

In 2004, Langer's father, Jon-Lawrence, became a citizen of the Achaean Territory of Antarctica, the predecessor state of Westarctica. His father was immediately granted the title Duke of Driscoll and given governance over Driscoll Island. As a courtesy, Arthur received the title Prince of Driscoll when he was only eight years old. At that time, the Achaean Royal Charter dictated that the sons of dukes were given the title of prince.

After Achaea evolved into Westarctica in June 2004, all the existing titles of nobility were either abolished or downgraded in precedence. As a consequence of this change, Arthur's title was later mediatized into his father's new lands in the Duchy of Moulton. His newly created barony was called Maricopa. The territory of this barony is located on the southern slope of Mount Moulton near the Kohler Dome.

As an adult, Arthur has been an enthusiastic supporter of Westarctica.
