The '''Noble Order of the Sword''' is one of the four original [[Westarctica|Westarctican]] [[Orders of Westarctica|Orders of Chivalry]]. It was created to recognize exceptional military achievement. As Westarctica is largely a peaceful nation, it remains the least awarded honor in the nation, with only one holder aside from [[Grand Duke Travis]], who is the sovereign of the order. Due to the rare occurrence of conferring the order, it has been declared to be in disuse.

The Order is now considered disused, its function having been deemed non-essential due to Westarctica's commitment to peace, absence of a formal military, and ability to cover the rare need to recognize military achievement with the [[Order of the Snowflake]]. The Noble Order of the Sword will still be considered technically active until it is either abolished, or there are no living members; in which case it will be considered dormant.
