Biography
A resident of the United Kingdom, Herron attended the University of Bristol, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Economics and Accountancy in 1984. Immediately after graduation, he began his professional career as a manager for Price Waterhouse providing business advisory services to the firm's clients. The viscount worked in a number of roles in the financial sector before starting his own company in 2015.
Involvement with Westarctica
In May of 2005, Herron contacted Grand Duke Travis about making a donation to support the goals and mission of Westarctica. After the donation was finalized, he was granted the noble title Viscount of Gardiner on 1 June 2005 in recognition of his support.
His title is named for Gardiner Ridge in the Ames Range.
