Activities with Westarctica

The count was introduced to Westarctica by his friends, Dr. Stephen Winkler, the 1st Duke of Goldstream and the Baron of Swan (later raised to 2nd Duke of Goldstream) in 2019. Shortly after learning about Westarctica's goals and mission, he was appointed to the post of Vice Consul for Rhode Island.

In 2020, he was granted the peerage title Count of Dorchuck, so-named for Dorchuck Glacier.

In August 2023, he met Grand Duke Travis in Boston, Massachusetts during an informal summit of the New England Honorary Consuls. At this time, he was awarded a knighthood in the Order of the Polar Cross in recognition of his work as an advocate for Westarctica.

After the passing of the 1st Duke of Goldstream, his subordinate title, Viscount Grier (named for Mount Grier) was bestowed upon the Count of Dorchuck in the 2023 Anniversary Honors Royal Decree.

Foreign Minister

After Sir Charles Ross resigned from the post of Foreign Minister in October 2024, the Count of Dorchuck was the first person to volunteer to fill the vacant post. One month later, following approval from the Prime Minister, the Duke of Steventon, he was appointed as the new Foreign Minister on 12 November 2024.

In July 2025, the Jain affair caused significant distress for the Foreign Office and Westarctica's international reputation. The scandal was managed by the Deputy Foreign Minister, who began damage control operations immediately after the news stories began breaking.

On 11 August 2025, the Senate of Westarctica voted to deny his appointment as Foreign Minister and he was immediately retired from the role.

Westarctica Ice Krakens

The count has been an avid ice hockey player for many years and was instrumental in forming Westarctica's ice hockey team, the Ice Krakens. The team trains and plays throughout New England every winter hockey season.

In December 2024, he was appointed alternate captain of the Ice Krakens by the Minister of Sports.
