The Minister of Citizen Affairs was a position on the Royal Council.
History
While the Government of Westarctica has often had a Royal Council ministry devoted to its citizenry, the post was usually devoted to processing citizenship applications under the banner of the Minister of Citizenship & Immigration. When the citizenship process was automated in 2019, this position was no longer required and it was removed.
In 2021, Brendan Cook, the Deputy Prime Minister requested authorization to start a council-level post responsible for encouraging interactions among the citizens of Westarctica. His request was granted and on 2 November 2021, the ministry was created as part of the 20th Anniversary Honors and Appointments list.
Once the baron was elected to the post of Prime Minister, the ministry was absorbed into that role and functionally eliminated from the Royal Council.
