His Grace, the Duke of Waite, Thomas Williams, is a member of the Peerage of Westarctica, and the Minister of Citizenship on the Royal Council.

Prince of Eden

Prior to joining Westarctica, His Grace was briefly enthroned as the Prince of Eden, a micronation based on ecological principles. As stated online "our main goal is to help spread awareness to remote areas, and grow our kingdom into a great community."

After receiving a title in Westarctica, the Principality of Eden was discontinued.

Career in Westarctica

In January 2025, Williams contacted Grand Duke Travis to inquire about donating to Westarctica and volunteering to help the ecological mission of the nation. At this time, he stated: "I've been following Westartica for years. You are my personal hero for what you do."

He subsequently was granted the peerage title Count of Recely, so-named for Recely Bluff. Shortly after, he was elevated to the rank of duke with the title Duke of Waite, so-named for the Waite Islands and nearby Cape Waite. His subordinate title was then granted to his wife, Delilah Williams, who became the Countess of Recely.

After the quarterly Royal Council meeting in March 2025, His Grace volunteered to serve in the vacant post of Minister of Citizenship, a vital government position which involved processing and approving new citizenship applications.

In July 2025, after the decision was finalized to resurrect the dormant Civilian Corps, the Duke of Waite seemed like a natural fit to assume leadership as Commissioner of the Civilian Corps.
