The Prince-Abbacy of Inselwald was first launched in 2019 in order to provide legitimacy for the Noble Chapter of the Grand Hunt, before being reimagined the next year as the Kingdom of Argonne. Although there are a number of ties between Argonne and [[Westarctica]], none of them are formal. This is seen as being primarily due to the relative infancy of the Kingdom, with official [[Foreign relations of Westarctica|diplomatic ties]] very likely in the future. [[King James of Argonne|King James]] and [[Grand Duke Travis]] of Westarctica are personal friends, in addition to enjoying good relations with the [[Kingdom of Scone]] during the King's time on the Sconnish throne. The alliance between Westarctica and Molossia is Westarctica's oldest, and ranks among its most important and influential diplomatic relations. Since 2005, President Kevin Baugh of Molossia has been an important ally and advisor to Grand Duke Travis, both in his role as Grand Duke of Westarctica and during his time as the King of Calsahara, prior to its 2017 annexation and rebirth as a colony of Westarctica.
