Matt Roth
Sir Matthew Roth, KtS is an American photographer who has spent several years documenting Micronations and the people who create them. He has been the official photographer for all MicroCon events since MicroCon 2015 in Anaheim, California.
Sir Matthew is based in the Baltimore, Maryland area and specializes in journalistic photography and unique portrait work.
American Micronationalists Project
Matt Roth's largest undertaking so far has been his efforts to compile a visual ethnography of micronationalists. In the pursuit of his goal, he has attended numerous gatherings of micronations as well as visiting several micronations to photograph their citizens inside their sovereign territory.
He was responsible for creating a detailed photographic record of Westarctica's October 2017 invasion of Calsahara and served as an official combat photographer during the battle. In honor of his achievements in photography and as thanks for his service to the crown, he was knighted in Otisburg by Grand Duke Travis.
