He has been the official photographer for all [[MicroCon]] events since [[MicroCon 2015]] in Anaheim, California. Sir Matthew is based in the Baltimore, Maryland area and specializes in journalistic photography and unique portrait work.


The shared history of the two nations began in 2005, shortly after the shift from the former identity as the [[Achaean Territory of Antarctica]]. The first significant interaction between the two nations was the signing of an agreement of mutual recognition. That year, Grand Duke Travis and President Baugh met in Washington, D.C. This was the first state visit of any kind for Westarctica. The two became fast friends, and various correspondence and knighthoods were exchanged between the two leaders.
He was responsible for creating a detailed photographic record of [[Westarctica]]'s [[Invasion of Calsahara|October 2017 invasion]] of [[Colony of Calsahara|Calsahara]] and served as an official combat photographer during the battle. In honor of his achievements in photography and as thanks for his service to the crown, he was knighted in [[Otisburg]] by [[Grand Duke Travis]].

Sir Matthew Roth, KtS is an American photographer who has spent several years documenting Micronations and the people who create them. He has been the official photographer for all MicroCon events since MicroCon 2015 in Anaheim, California. Sir Matthew is based in the Baltimore, Maryland area and specializes in journalistic photography and unique portrait work.

He was responsible for creating a detailed photographic record of Westarctica's October 2017 invasion of Calsahara and served as an official combat photographer during the battle. In honor of his achievements in photography and as thanks for his service to the crown, he was knighted in Otisburg by Grand Duke Travis.
