His Grace, James Stoshak, the Duke of Faulkender is a member of the Peerage of Westarctica, the current Deputy Prime Minister of Westarctica, as well as the current Chancellor of the Protectorate of Kolios.

Involvement with Westarctica

On 15 November 2020, Stoshak was granted the peerage title Count of Faulkender in recognition of his support of Westarctica's mission and goals. His title was derived from Faulkender Ridge. He quickly distinguished himself as an active citizen of the nation, being heavily involved in the Westarctica Citizen's Group on Facebook.

His Grace attended Westarctica's 20th Anniversary Celebration in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2021. At this event, he was awarded two Orders of Westarctica: Companion in the Noble Order of Westarctica and Knight Commander in the Order of the Snowflake.

The following year, he attended MicroCon 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada and was an integral member of Westarctica's team, which was responsible for hosting the event. In recognition of his services to the nation, he was elevated to Knight Grand Commander in the Order of the Snowflake. Additionally, in 2022, he was granted the title Baron of Brandenburg in the Nobility of Calsahara and Baron von Braubar in the Nobility of Kolios.

In his role as Deputy Prime Minister of Westarctica, His Grace attended MicroCon 2023 and participated in the Nemean Games, an intermicronational sporting competition where he dominated the seniors' division. He was awarded a knighthood in the Order of the Orca during the first night of the conference in recognition of his body of service to Westarctica and his continued devotion to the nation's mission.

In November 2023, he was elevated in rank from count to duke in recognition of his many contributions to Westarctica as well as single-handedly funding the Westarctica Conservation Scholarship for the year 2023.

His Grace is the patron of the Friendship Medal of the Duchy of Faulkender and the Braubar Medal of Merit, two regional orders included among the Orders of Westarctica.

Deputy Prime Minister

On 20 February 2023, His Grace was elected as Deputy Prime Minister of Westarctica on a ticket with the Baron of Hull Bay.

The duke attended MicroCon 2025 as part of Westarctica's official delegation to Montreal, Canada.

Chancellor of Kolios

On 9 June 2025, His Grace was elected to the position of Chancellor of the Protectorate of Kolios after the previous Chancellor, Ella Westerly, chose not to run again. He won by a slim margin of only one vote against Kristina Sullivan.
